Excellent Book on How to Really Build A Successful Blog,
I have to admit that I have been a big fan of Danny Iny since I first stumbled upon his work. I do not know him personally although I must disclose I did take a digital course from him once which was terrific. I’m just a big fan that has recognized him as being a bright honest light in the blogging world and who has a lot of excellent knowledge to share. I don’t know Sean as well, but he is obviously talented and knowledgeable. But enough of that and onto the book. This outstanding book on blogging is broken into nine chapters that starts with why guru strategies for blog growth don’t work, then delves into mindset (which isn’t your usually claptrap), then talks about measuring what matters most and finally gets to the heart of the matter and my four favorite chapters on how to really build a successful blog: Awesome Content, Building Your Community, Being Everywhere and Finally Getting Viral. By reading those four chapters you will really understand what makes or breaks a blog. These chapters are rich in content and are a real how to on building a very successful blog. Oh, and finally the authors talk about your blog becoming profitable. What a concept,eh? Imagine actually running a highly successful blog that actually can support you. Their ideas on this subject alone are well worth the price. You won’t be able to spend a better $4.99 anywhere. PS: I couldn’t wait!

Advice from the heart,
I have read a few ‘build a blog’ books and this one is pretty special and unique.
One of the things I loved about it (and one of the things that will keep me reading to the end of a book) is the honesty and non-wishy washiness of the writers’ tone.
Danny and Sean do a great job at telling us about what really works to make your blog successful without trying hard to please the reader – I like this. I don’t like to read a book where the author tells you some great stuff and then proceeds to ‘wishy-wash’ it by sugar coating the other side so everyone will love it.
I also love Danny’s writing because every time I read something by him, I can feel that he really cares for us to be as successful as possible.
The advice is right on target and different, and a huge breath of fresh air amongst so much ‘blog’ cliche out there.
One of my favorite parts is when they talk about focusing on ONE person’s profile and NOT on ‘target audience’– this is what was missing for me. I always got confused “Hmm, how can I focus on such a big audience?” Now I know. AWESOME advice.
Another favorite part is when they suggest the different angles you can look at when deciding what to write about AND the ways you can still write good stuff when you feel 0% inspired.
And, of course, many other awesome tips.
Get this if you have a blog. Worth your money, and time reading it.

I’ve read it three times already!,
I downloaded the Kindle version of this book. The last thing I wanted for my birthday was a Kindle. I mean – real books rule, right?
Anyway I read it the first time but didn’t really get into what Danny and Sean were saying as I was concentrating more on using the Kindle.(turned too many pages, lost my place and didn’t know how it had happened and where I had read up to).
When I got to the end of the book, I started it all over again. Wow! I’ve read a good few books on building better blogs, but really loved the way that the message in this book was delivered. No nonsense, this is how it is, peppered with humour. Anyone could read it and gain an insight into what they should be doing to make their blog bigger and better.
I’ve just finished reading it for the third time, and this time I took notes because there is so much useful information crammed into this compact volume.
